All About Lauhala

Aren't they just the coolest looking tree? They aren't just cool looking; they also have very useful traits too! There is a female and a male tree and the male tree is the one that produces the fruit! The fruit look very much like a pineapple, so the tree is often confused for being a pineapple tree, even through everyone knows that pineapples grown on plants and not trees. The pineapple looking fruit is very useful but that it not what I like most abouty this tree. What I like most about this tree are the lau or leaves, hence the title of the blog, All About Lauhala!
